Welcome to the Touhill Performing Arts Center   Welcome to the Touhill’s landmark 5th season! We have put together a collection of performances for the 2007-2008 season that will again deliver the exciting and enticing variety for which the Touhill has come to be known. We’re extremely proud of the accomplishments we’ve made in four short years and look forward to more milestones to come. The 2006-07 season was certainly a crowd pleaser with many sellouts and near sellouts. The April 13, 2007 debut performance of Booth! was an unbelievable experience for the whole campus community. Not only was it the world premiere of an original musical written, directed and scored by UMSL faculty members Niyi Coker and Barbara Harbach and public relations coordinator Jonathon Yordy, but the cast and crew was made up entirely of UMSL students. It was a true symbol of our commitment to integrate education, innovation and excellence. As proud as we are of the Touhill as a performance venue, it has also become a favorite place for other institutions and organizations, both locally and nationally. Just a few of the organizations that have utilized the Touhill as either a performance venue or as a gathering place are the Ambassadors of Harmony, Dance St. Louis, KETC-TV Channel 9, MADCO, Parkway School District, St. Louis Variety Club, HEC-TV, and The Urban League of Metro St. Louis. Space forbids my listing all of the organizations that have utilized the Touhill, but we thank all of them for their patronage and invite others to contact us to see how the Touhill can provide a spectacular backdrop for your next event.
